“Solidarity” social action program is further extended since October 15th at Vryssaki. Thirty volunteer teachers offer their services and more than 250 students improve their knowledge and gain new skills. Additionally, social cohesion is enhanced as students have the opportunity to contribute either to actions or to NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations).
Furthermore, training courses are also run by volunteers since November 10th in the context of Industry program. Professionals deliver their expertise offering a simple way to earn valuable education credits and build competitive skills for the job market. Areas covered could be synopsized to the following: cultural production, cultural promotion, cultural management and new technologies. Participants are informed about critical subjects such that organization, financing, legal and standard processes that should be followed. Industry offers a competitive training package in an effort to prepare participants in order to succeed in all different fields of cultural production and management and work with major cultural institutions in Greece and abroad.

Cycle 1 (November 2012 – January 2013)
Creation of portfolio for Cultural Production
A team of specialists specify how to develop a successful portfolio for a project. Participants learn step by step the procedure of cultural production.
Cycle 2 (February 2013 – April 2013)
Contact with Institutions
Following the successful meeting of the “Fringe Agency” in June 2012 at the Hellenic American Union, Fringe attempts to extend the cooperation with the cultural institutions of the country. Representatives from major cultural institutions of Greece meet the members of Fringe on a weekly basis to discuss about their ideas and advise them about the developed portfolio.
Cycle 3 (May 2013 – June 2013)
Contact with Institutions during Athens Fringe Live 2013
Proposal to the cooperative Institutions (The Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera, National Theatre, Athens International Film Festival, Greek Choreographers Festival, Badminton, Technopolis of Municipality of Athens) to watch the performances of the Live with the aim of supporting the corresponding artists.
Cycle 4 (July 2013 – December 2013)
Promote projects abroad
Performances and projects appeared in Fringe Live are selected to participate in “Fine Young Greeks” next year in London.
