Η Άννα Στερεοπούλου δημιουργεί και ωριμάζει πάνω σε ένα είδος μουσικής, που συνδυάζει τα ελληνικά / μεσογειακά της ερεθίσματα με τα σύγχρονα ρεύματα της Ευρώπης. Κύριος στόχος πάντως στις συνθέσεις της είναι η ένωση–παραλληλισμός της Μουσικής με άλλες τέχνες, όπως το Θέατρο, η Ποίηση, ο Κινηματογράφος, η Αρχιτεκτονική, ο Χορός, καθώς και η διοργάνωση-επιμέλεια-εκτέλεση Οπτικο-Ακουστικών / Multi-Media Συναυλιών. Έχει γράψει μουσική για Ορχήστρες (Βασιλική Ναυτική Ορχήστρα του Portsmouth, Feminarte), αλλά και μουσικά σύνολα, Φεστιβάλ, Θέατρο, Κινηματογράφο, Χορό κ.α. Μουσική της Άννας έχει παρουσιαστεί στην Ελλάδα (Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, Φεστιβάλ Σύμης, Φεστιβάλ Αμαρουσίου, 1ο και 2ο Φεστιβάλ Βωβού Κινηματογράφου, κ.α.) και στο εξωτερικό [Portello River Festival & River Film Festival (Πάδοβα) -στα οποία εργάζεται και ως Μουσικός Σύμβουλος/Προγραμματισμός-, Inspirational Arts Festival, Thames Festival (Λονδίνο), Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο (Κωνσταντινούπολη), Sun-Yat-Sen University (Ταϊβάν), Congresso Astrofisico (Πανεπιστήμιο της Ινσούμπρια) και Centro Culturale di Varese (Ιταλία)]. Επίσης, μουσική για Θέατρο [Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδος, Αθμόνιον Θέατρο, Θέατρο Φούρνος (Το Μπαλόνι), Θέατρο Άλμα (Ο Χορός του Θανάτου)], Χορό [Royal Academy of Dance (Λονδίνο) Αέναον Χοροθέατρο (Αθήνα)] και Κινηματογράφο [Bundes Film Festival (Βερολίνο, 2ο Βραβείο), Synch Festival, BBC «Homegrown Hollywood», London National Film Theatre, 'Yakumo Koizumi' Museum (Ματσούε-Ιαπωνία)]. Έχοντας ήδη στην δισκογραφία της την πρώτη ηχογραφημένη συλλογή της, «DANCE WITH ME» (Μουσική για Χορό/Χοροθέατρο), η Άννα Στερεοπούλου πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει το νέο της album μέσα στο 2013, όποτε και έχει προγραμματίσει και την παρουσίαση των project της “...ονειρογράφος... v.5.spindle” και “electron” (ήλεκτρον) στην Ελλάδα, την Ιταλία και την Γαλλία. Προσεχείς συνεργασίες της εντάσσονται στον χώρο των Καλών Τεχνών με την fine artist Vassiliki Theodorakidi (Αθήνα & Εξωτερικό / t.b.a), ενώ εντός του 2013, θα προβληθεί στις αίθουσες η κινηματογραφική ταινία, σε σκηνοθεσία Μαρίας Ντούζα, “Το Δέντρο και η Κούνια” για την οποία συνέθεσε την μουσική.

The music of Anna Stereopoulou could be characterised as a genre, which combines her Greek sea-faring roots, with modern European movements. Apart from her specialisation in the field of Music Composition for Film, she has also taken on the task of organizing and overseeing Audio-Visual /Multi-Media concerts. Her basic aim being to combine and unify Music with the other arts, such as the Theatre, Cinema, Poetry, Dance and Architecture. She has composed music for Orchestras (Royal Marines Orchestra - Portsmouth, Feminarte) and other Ensembles. Her music has been performed in Greece (Megaron Athens Concert Hall, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Amaroussion Festival, 1st and 2nd Silent Film Festival, etc.) and abroad [Portello River Festival & River Film Festival (Padova, Italy) -at which she has also been collaborating as Music Consultant / Programming, respectively-, Inspirational Arts Festival, Thames Festival (London), Ecoumanical Patriarchate (Constantinople), Sun-Yat-Sen University (Taiwan), Congresso Astrofisico (Università dell'Insumbria), etc.]. She has also composed for the Theatre [National Theatre of Northern Greece, Athmonion Theatre, Fournos Theatre (The Baloon), Alma Theatre (The Dance of Death), Metaxourgeio Theatre (The Well of The Saints)], Dance [Royal Academy of Dance (London) and Aenaon Dance-Theatre (Athens)] and the Cinema [Bundes Film Festival (Berlin, Bronze Medal), Synch Festival, BBC «Homegrown Hollywood», London National Film Theatre, 'Yakumo Koizumi' Museum (Matsue-Japan)]. Her new album will be published within 2013, after her first collection “Dance With Me” (Music composed for Dance projects). Current and future projects of Anna Stereopoulou include the performance of her “...oneirograph... v.5.spindle” and “electron” projects [Greece – Italy – Paris – London], her collaboration with the fine artist Vassiliki Theodorakidi, as well as her commission to compose the soundtrack for the future film “The Tree & The Swing” (to be released in 2013), directed by Maria Douza.
